This 19 inch rack mount compatible 5000W 48V hybrid off grid inverter intelligently combines the functions of a 5000W pure sine wave inverter, 80A MPPT solar charge controller and a 60A smart battery charger in one single unit. This model can accept input from solar panels, mains power/generator and a battery. This can be either from a single or combination of input sources. In addition to its hybrid capability, this innovative inverter features zero transfer time. This enables instant 0ms transfer from mains to battery mode when the mains power is interrupted. In addition, the inverter has advanced communication functions. These include inbuilt Wi-Fi monitoring, along with a menu full of highly customisable settings.

This hybrid inverter is the perfect solution for any off-grid application with low or zero access to traditional mains power. This hybrid inverter features a zero transfer time Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS). It makes it the ideal option for applications where the power supply is unreliable, intermittent or expensive to maintain. This inverter is great for both stationary and mobile off-grid installations. It includes remote properties, holiday homes, huts, and cabins or narrowboats and yachts. It is also great for IT systems requiring continuous operation in case of power failures. This is equally good for customers looking to reduce their mains electricity usage and save on electricity bills. It could also create the perfect back-up system in locations suffering from frequent power cuts.

Recommend using supporting rails or shelf in the rack when rack mounting, do not just use the rack ears to support the inverter.

Additional intelligent features:

    • Output source priority- This intelligent feature of this hybrid inverter allows the user to set output source preferences. These can be solar, battery power, mains input or a generator for the AC load output of the inverter. This menu includes several options for varying conditions and scenarios. For example, which source of energy is given priority for the AC output if solar power is insufficient. This might be because the battery voltage is too low or if mains is unavailable.
    • Battery charging priority- A wide selection of battery charging priority options are available. For instance, the user can choose to charge the battery using solar power only or using a combination of solar power and mains power/from mains power only etc.
    • A range of highly customisable settings- The parameters for this inverter can be personalised to an exceptionally specific degree via the user-friendly interface. At the touch of a button, the user can customise parameters such as the AC input range and battery type. Equally, max charging current, specific high/low voltage disconnect points (and preferred charging source upon reconnection). You can even change the duration and voltage of each charging stage, auto-restart options, power saving mode, overload bypass, battery equalization stage characteristics and so on. There are also options for managing operational features such as the audible alarm and backlight settings.
    • Illuminated LCD screen- Displays vital statistics which are easily changeable by use of the up/down keys. This information includes status and mode, input/output voltage, frequency, battery voltage, load power and percentages, charge and discharge current.
    • Advanced communication options- The inverter is supplied with a PC connection cable and software for convenient viewing of important system information. These include solar/battery/AC voltage, charging current, battery capacity etc. Detailed data logs are also available to view and export to PDF/ Excel formats from the PC software. This inverter also has the potential to send data to a mobile app using the built-in wi-fi kit.
    • Generator auto-start function- If connected to a generator via dry contacts, the Iconica inverter can send a signal to automatically start a generator as soon as the battery voltage drops below a certain level. It can then intelligently stop when an additional battery level is detected.
    • Auto restart function- When overload or overheating occurs, the inverter will disconnect the load appliances, and automatically reconnect once safe conditions are detected.

Solar Assistant Compatible.

This hybrid inverter is suitable for 48V flooded, sealed GEL/AGM lead-acid and Lithium batteries with user-defined charging settings. We can supply these settings for our EVE Lithium Batteries to make them easy to use. We do not use the battery communication with these inverters and our EVE batteries. A user-defined battery type with numerous customisable settings is also available for charging any other battery types that do not require communication between the battery and the inverter.

In order to enable the solar charging or direct operation of the loads from solar panels you must have the right voltage. Ensure that your solar array meets the minimum MPPT input voltage requirement of the inverter which is 60V.

This inverter does not export to the grid, This inverter needs battery connected to work, Recommend minimal 200Ah battery bank (dependant on AC load)

  • 5000W 48V Pure sine wave off grid inverter- Converts DC current into 230V AC mains electricity, to run various household appliances. These include a TV, laptop, fridge, microwave and lighting. It is able to generate 5000W of continuous power. It has a strong peak power handling capability of up to 10000VA.   • Enhanced 60A Smart battery charger- Designed to enable safe, efficient and fast (up to 60A) unattended charging of a battery. This is from a mains power source or generator, with full overcharge protection and multiple charging stages.
  • UPS zero transfer time- Offers instant 0ms transfer from mains to battery mode when mains power is interrupted. The normal speed of transfer for regular inverters is 15-20ms. This improved UPS functionality allows critical IT loads such as computers and servers to operate continuously in case of power failures.
  • Rack-compatible design- The construction of the inverter case allows it to be easily slotted into a rack. This allows convenient installation of multiple inverters or rack-compatible battery systems into one unit.
  • Inbuilt Wi-Fi connectivity- The integrated wi-fi function allows the inverter to be monitored remotely using the Watchpower app. This is widely available from the Apple app store or the Watchpower Wi-Fi app from the Google Play store. After downloading the app, simply pair your mobile device with the inverter to gain access to important information. This includes solar, battery level, AC voltage, charging current and battery capacity.
